    To think before the match we were 4/5 and New Zealand 11/4. Us without the likes of Stokes, Woakes and Archer. Them being underrated again despite reaching the test final.

    Sibley seemed like he could be the man but he's one dimensional and a walking wicket. His head isnt in the right place at the minute. The Aussies will have him on toast.

    Disagree, lose the first test at the Gabba and it will all go downhill. We've previously gone down under with very strong squads on paper and been thrashed. I see this winter being no different.

    Williamson continuing his poor form in this country for New Zealand. Top 4 in the world batter and averages 40s and 50s everywhere but here where his average is low 30s. You would think with all the excellent spells he's had over here for Yorkshire that he would be decent on our pitches for the Kiwis.

    They were, but they were also 10 years ago and should be put into that context. He’s also admitted prior to this test that he’s done a lot of growing up in the last few years. He needs a warning on future conduct and some educational courses to ensure he fully understands the issue, but let’s not vilify the lad.

    I read that the ECB are planning to ban him for the 2nd test, I think that would be far too severe a punishment.

    Talking a lot of sense is Vaughan. These guys have the first chance to make a impact. If they don't some will not get to play every India test nevermind reach Australia. Malan for example has a double hundred and a 199 in his handful of county games in his short Yorkshire career.
