The opening round of fixtures will be crucial to us getting out of the group or not. If we win that one (unlikely based on last night) then we will be fine as that is the toughest opponent we have in our group and they are the ones that beat us in the semis last tournament so would gve them a good boost to beat them. Also, if the other game ends in a draw then we are also fine as Scotland or the Czechs cant afford to draw that fixture really if they want to have any chance of getting out of the group. If we lose though and Scotland/Czechs win on opening day then we could be in a bit of trouble as whoever wins the other game on opening day will go into the next round of games with bags of confidence etc.
Thankfully spent my time watching Yorkshire conjure a victory out of nothing against Sussex, even if only on BBC teletext or whatever they call it these days. Watching England tends to be a very good cure for insomnia these days for me
