    Football really needs to sort out how it deals with added time.

    Blowing the whistle at 94:06 is inexcusable there, given the amount of time the ball was out of play.

    England, well you can't expect to keep winning with a, passenger up front. Kane surely not 100% match fit, way off the pace.

    This Spain team won't be remembered for long. The only team they thrashed was the lowest ranked one still in the tournament. They found a way to sneak past most opponents by one measly goal.

    In 20/30 years all of that will be forgotten and the stats will speak for themselves
    1 England has won something and that was with huge home advantage.
    Southgate is far from perfect but the abuse he gets is ridiculous.

    Disappointing performance that - gave them far too much time and space for too much of the game. Went forward quickly a couple of times and looked better - scored, had a couple of minutes on the front foot where they looked rocky and then inexplicably decide to go back to holding on, hoping that they didn’t score.

    Spain are a good side but if you sit off them don’t go to the man and just hope they don’t score it makes it easy for them
