I didn’t know what he’d actually said as I’ve since read that she was genuinely scared of him and actually left the country !
She's one of the weaker women pundits in my opinion and I'd put her on a par with the likes of carragher for making mistakes but would put her above him for the lack of anger and argumentativeness in how she presents. As for her personal life I'd say that if she does play the race card as people call it then that puts her on a par with a few male pundits too and again still far ahead of the likes of carragher who spits at people and Keane who tries to fight with anyone and everyone
She's not too bad - no worse than the likes of Merson, Morrison et al. But she obviously takes a lot of stick cos of scum like Barton. Agree with the general sentiment that punditry isn't great at the moment - with the exception of McCoist, Neville and Sweetman-Kirk.
I think its all down to individuals personalities, you either love em or you hate em if you dont like em turn the telly darn or just turn over, watch the telly an listen to the Radio its much better, i've nivver been a fan..
To list a few I prefer Michelle Owen, Karen Carney, Reshmin Chowdhury, Alex Scott and Jill Scott as pundits over Eni, is she the worst? Probably not - but she does need to work on a lot of aspects of being in front of the camera if she wants a long career. However, like others have said there are a plethora of male pundits who are a lot worse. What I don't like is when followers of the likes of Barton use her as a poster child for why women should be excluded from the men's game.
She's not a great pundit and I don't particularly like her as a person but there are much worse ones on tnt sports. Best male co-commentator/pundit is Ally Mccoist by a country mile. Best female one is Emma Hayes but she's a bit busy these days.
I look for one of two things from a pundit & that’s to either be insightful or entertaining. I don’t think she’s either. So no, not a fan. She was on with Roberto Martinez a while back & talked over him a couple of times when he was making an interesting point which I found rude given the level he’s coached at. I do however like Lucy Ward who often gets lumped in with Aluko. I think she’s a pretty good co-commentator
Alex Scott is an example of a good female pundit, Eni has had plenty of goes at it and doesn't get any better with age. I think Mccoist and Jenas are really good , don't actually mind Keane, quite like Micah Richards. The rest, meh.
I like Mcoist and Neville out of them all. Carragher good tactics wise but has an annoying habit of not finishing one point before he goes off on another. The good thing about the euros is hopefully having pundits from the countries that are playing,
I'm not a fan of Scott either, amateur hour. I do like Richards though. Also think Jobi Mcanuff is decent, talks sense. And another one I like a lot, but is rarely used, Nedum Onuoha.
Not a fan personally, in fact think she is pretty awful. But she is far from alone; she has good company of both sexes.
Opinions eh, I don't like Scott but to answer the OP No, it doesn't come naturally to her and therefore she loses the thread and the punditry doesn't flow..Listen to McCoist in full flow, a natural presenter. Lv Mica BTW
Not a fan of any of the commentators or pundits, they simply state the obvious most of the time and given I've seen it with my eyes I don't need them to tell me what happened unless they're going to offer some genuine insight and analysis. Really don't get the McCoist love-in either, he's as banal as the rest.
I think she’s alright don’t know what the problem is that people have with her …… and isn’t Alex Scott a presenter not a pundit
Mainly his enthusiasm for me, I feel like he's enjoying the match with me. Plus he's usually shares my opinions on the match!
Best MOTD in recent time was the one where Gary and pals did their flounce. No interviews, smartarse ‘banter’ or drawing circles and triangles by way of ‘analysis’!
