Where are you seeing those stats? it is widely reported that there have been 37 reported cases of blood clots out of more than 17 million people vaccinated in the European Union and the U.K. Fifteen of the reported cases were of deep vein thrombosis, and 22 were pulmonary embolisms. The WHO, the EMA and many other scientists state categorically that a) there is no evidence to suggest a link between those cases and AZ vaccine, b) In fcat the numbers are actually the same if not lower than those in the general population and c) greater damage is caused by pausing the immunisations due to more people dying from Covid and loss of confidence and increased resistence to having the vaccine. The German Health Minister already has 'form' as he was one of those who leapt on the allegations that the AZ vaccine was only 6% effective in over 65s and led to Germany stopping administering to that group until they were forced into an embarrassing to U turn . I would therefore take any recommendations from him with a pinch of salt.
As someone who has had two episodes of DVT in the past 5 years,( also family history as my mother died from Thrombosis at a relatively young age) the 2nd resulting in my local doctor sending me for a Ultrascan and then I was sent immediately to Pronto Soccorso at the local Hospital and confined to bed for a week with twice daily self administered Clexane injections for 4 months! I should therefore be the one to worry. The reason I am not is because I do not believe for one minute there IS any connection. Statistically there is none and also there are scientists who argue that due to teh the nature of the vaccine and how it works there is no biological connection as to how it would change the composition of the blood to induce clotting. There are a lot of politics and scaremongering at play here.
