Then your view is tainted mate

because there are far better players in this division than the ones you have said.
Bogdanovic has never played at this level for a reason, long term he is not good enough, he just looks bloody fantastic against the rest of the strikers.
Muller , never rated him very highly.
Moore is too old now, but has been very good for all his career.
Hassell, decent player, not great tho`.
JCR, no end product, it does not matter which position he plays.
Colace, looks good in OUR side, dont know if he would in a top side.
Foster, great player, but not the best in the division.

RE: Chief Football writer for the Daily Telegraph...

and my point is James mate that I've gone to enough games in my life to have the club, tarn and tarn culture firmly engrained. I don't think it's right that supposed loyal fans spew out libellous and insulting remarks to club staff members at the drop of a hat.
Constantly spouting off that the team is ****, **** or some other meaningless ****** serves no purpose. But hey, that's your average moron supporter. There are many on here whose opinions I agree with and some that I do not but I have all the time in the world for them when they can state what the issue is at what they would do to resolve it.
Some of the remarks directed at Patrick Cryne begger belief. Here's a man who has put a substantial part of his personal weath into the club and gets pilloried for his efforts, I'm afraid that many other investors would have said "Fu*k this" sold the team and turned Oakwell into a waterpark - crazy golf and all.
The round trip cost for me and my lad to go to Oakwell is around £150 so it's around twice a season, time permitting, any game south of Coventry is fine. On that basis I don't see that you have too much of an axe to grind on commitment.
It's sad that the club is wallowing in the lower regions of the division (yet again) and sure, its quite likely that Davey has taken us as far as he can and he's also not to be in charge next year, but that's sport for you.

No we now need more than we started the season with

We still need players in all the positions that we did 9 months ago but now we need an attacking midfielder too

I can't agree. At all.

I'd sooner have Hume, Macken, Mifsud and Bogdanovic than Richards, Nardiello (Where is he now?! Hartlepool is it?!) and Tommy Wright!!

It happens every season

just because we sign someone then they automatically become the best in the division.

Ludicrous :)

Yet look at how many goals the current crop have scored compared to the ones davey got rid of

Richards scored more in the first two or three months of the season than odejayi has in two years I think

I would also say that with Moore getting on we need another central defender

And we need two strikers not just one. I think we need six players just to make a half decent team. Any manager in the world would struggle with our squad. All Davey's fault like as they're his players.

Fair point on moore

And I agree with the strikers, I was just being generous to davey in saying he only needed one but to be honest you're right we need two. at least.

Half of the squad is capable of mid table or a play off push, the other half league 1 at best.

On the contrary

To be constantly caught out on the break (against nottingham forest) in a match we were WINNING shows scant regard for the opposition. We didn't NEED to go piling forward...
