Been to a funeral today of a good old mate I've known for 28 years, there are good ordinary folks around who are unsung social heroes, kicking a bag of wind around pales into insignificance when compared to what really matters...... friendship and honesty and great people...you have my sincerest condolences DT.

Sorry to hear that. I hope he had a good innings & at least got to 75 / 80.

When someone close to you dies it's always sad but when they don't get the chance to have a good retirement it's bloody horrible.

from my wife and myself, thankyou all for your kind sentiments

Its truly appreciated. My Father in law was just turned 88 so he had a good run, our Dog was almost 14 so she has had a good life too... it all still hurts but your kindnesses have helped us totally.

Age doesn't make losing someone close any easier mate, sorry to hear about your loss.
