    Not though is it. It should be implemented and fairly across the leagues, can't wait to see city's punishment. I'd even be in favour or a salary cap in each league.

    I think the Prem top nobs are in a real quandary. Stuck between looking forceful to head off the Football regulator they dread and being so forceful they force Man City, Chelsea etc out the door to a super league.
    Like you I wouldn't lose a second's sleep to see City, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal etc f**k right off and never blight the English game again.

    A salary cap in principal sounds fine but in reality any excess money would go to the owners.

    The premier league would never do it as the top players and managers wouldn't come here they would go to other European leagues or Saudi for better money.
