    Isn't that the same with UK sitcoms though?

    The best are genius…and then you have 'allo 'allo, Bread (in fact anything by Carla Lane), and just about any that get shown before 9pm (and usually on ITV).

    Respectable on Channel 5 though - pure brilliance!
