According to the chronicle, Neil Redfern has got a caretaker job role at conference team scarbrough......what do you think of that(gent) (gent)
RE: should be here because he could show the underachievers what it means to play for barnsley. he could start with kaye then move onto hayes.
RE: should be here Neil Redfearn was a great player for Barnsley of that I have no doubt, but his management credentials are what? Other that a short spell at Halifax what experience does he have? Also we have no player called Kaye
like it or not and I'm not advocating it - Ritchie will not be here come this time next year. He should have gone in and kicked off after the donny debacle, he should not be saying we shouldn't be dreaming of promotions and reaching the higher reaches of English Football. the football is atrocious - there's no wonder crowds are down and those that are there sit with their head on their hands, he has no passion and as far as i can see is the same as Paul hart but with a willingness to talk to the press as they would wish to be spoken to. the squad we have should be sitting in the higher play-off places challenging for automatic promotion not feeling lucky to be skirting the top 6.
RE: like it or not my view.... ritchie will be here for some time! GS going on about the financial situation, he aint going to go out and pay off yet another manager. Also, he's stated that they have forecasted to finish outside of top 6 and not pass the 1st round of either cup. Yes things aren't pretty, but it could be a lot, lot worst than it is.
RE: like it or not .... ritchie will be here for some tim GOOD its the constant chopping and changing that has put in the **** to start with
What amazed me ... Was the bit about Eric Winstanley being his assistant?? Surely there's room for Winnie back at the well if he's playing second fiddle to Redders in a caretaker role!
