RE: "Unless Arsenal have a real nightmare" "a 1 goal win would take Real through (well 1-0 would mean extra time) and they are more than capable of getting that." - ahem again........you haven't mentioned penalties at any point but stated that if Real win by one goal they would go through. Also forgetting that Real Madrid need to score 2 goals to go through on away goals. That also wasn't mentioned.
The case rests.

RE: "Unless Arsenal have a real nightmare" One final point........which team is mathematically the favourite.
One goal up, at home? Arsenal.
I understand what you tried to say but Arsenal will be much the happier side. I am not for one minute saying they have pissed it into the next round but Real need to score 2 goals to go through against an Arsenal defence that realistically wasn't troubled by a very poor Real attack......and I never ever thought I'd say that.
I will also add for Englands sake that we have a great opportunity in this years World Cup. ZZ is no longer the player he was, in fact I thought he was dog ***** last night. Roberto cralos doesn't get forward like he used to. Cicinho can be a weakness at right back for Brazil definately. Graveson is a tin of paint or a Nicky Wroe.

RE: "Unless Arsenal have a real nightmare" Well I think it's a difficult one to call, Arsenal of course have the edge being a goal up from the 1st leg, but I think it's very finely poised and Real are more than capable of at least taking it to extra time.
RE: "Unless Arsenal have a real nightmare" There you go!!! Not an argument a nice pleasant conversation. Wrong side of the bed an all that!!
Real have to improve on that showing though cos i was surprised how poorly they pressed the ball and how weak attacking they were. I don't think Ronaldo had a kick and you can see now why the fans have turned on him.
He's another one that I should add to the list for England. nowhere near the force of old and seems to be carrying a few extra pounds. Terry would have him in his pocket, if the world cup was tomorrow.

Whilst you are correct with your 1-0 Madrid Scenario, I saw absolutely ZERO to suggest that Real are more than capable of getting a shot in on target let alone a goal.
They are a very very slow team , and there is no way they are going to stop Arsenal scoring.
