by your own admission 40 people are due refunds so that is over £800 you are sat on and have had in the bank for a number of months. You have known for months that you could not provide the product that people paid for, so what is the issue regarding the speed of refunds?
You have my details, as you have "begun the process" can you tell me when you posted my refund?
Can I be confident the cheque will be honoured?
Although I have not requested payment to myself of the interest you have earnt from my payment to you, be aware that if your cheque bounces my bank will charge me for returning it to you. I shall then charge you for that fee.

I find it amazing that people think you are employed by the club.
Would a club as professional as BFC really employ or contract out to someone with such questionable business acumen as yourself?

You are wrong on quiet few points. Most people have had 6 issues so had half their subscriptions. Some also want to receive the review magazines instead of a refund. So I am not sitting on £800 and interest in a business is nothing at today levels. The money is a lot less to repay. Once again people make up their own facts. Anyway this is very difficult business climate. Like me lots are affected. Thank goodness they don't have you on their back.

 

you talk as if we couldn't possibly understand the hardship you are going thru.
If I treated my customers the way that you treat yours, I would expect and deserve to be out of business.
I am "on your back" because you owe me money, refund me as I have requested and you'll never hear from me again.
Your couldn't give a toss attitude is indicative of the disdain you have for your customers.
When I am next in Barnsley (mid Jan) I shall go to Oakwell and get to the bottom of what exactly your association/state of employment with the club actually is.

Of course he’s employed by BFC, personal friend of Mr Cryne…allegedly. Regularly see him floating around the Executive Floor on a Saturday with his camera and he doesn’t seem to be there as a guest or sponsor. No others ‘reporters’ have this kind of access. Look at the facts...he launched his ‘Barnsley Property Guide’ magazine a couple of years ago and tried to get Barnsleys estate agents on his side by telling them that the Chronicle was ripping them off in advertising fees. They quickly saw through him and this little venture went t*ts up! His football magazine didn’t sell as many copies as he expected, therefore didn’t attract advertisers, therefore didn’t make any money and also went t*ts up…and also seems to have left its subscribers out of pocket too. Now he’s asking £25 to join his latest venture, alarm bells should be ringing now. Further proof, try clicking the ‘Contact’ button on his website…says it all really, a two-bit set up from someone who runs his business from his bedroom.
