Spot on Oakwell could be a gold mine on match days. I'd get to Oakwell earlier and stay after full-time if there was somewhere comfortable for supporters. Part of the reason I fell out love with attending. It didn't cater for my other tastes and interests.

I do appreciate it's a football club first and foremost. I just wanted a little bit more.

For 23, 24 or 25 days a year it's not worth the investment.

Why only those days? There's no law preventing clubs from hosting events or even simply just providing catering

In about 50 years BFC may catch on! Let's not forget that this is the club that previously offered a "meal deal" at the same price or it may have been more than it was to buy the individual items :D:D.
They couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery yet all we keep hearing at the start of every seaaon is; "we're going to try and improve the matchday experience". I wonder what happened to the fella that came up with those decent food options last seaaon. He seemed to disappear very quickly!
I think it's disgusting that there are local non league clubs that offer so much more in terms of decent catering and quality matchday service than a "professional" football club. Even the staff serving on a matchday at oakwell can't be arsed. Says it all really.

Great idea in principal, but not so sure it’s as simple as that.
There must be a reason why all these successful business men that own clubs up and down the country don’t do it if it were to be a successful venture.

You're right of course but I'd argue they aren't successful business men. As aside from one or two the vast majority are posting huge losses year after year. That's not a successful business man.

In football club terms no, but these people haven’t generated the wealth to purchase clubs without being successful in their own field.

And the rest. I've never done it in under 3 hours, usually nearer 3:30 with the A34...

    I disagree with this mate.

I can guarantee you, nearly every club in the central midlands, county senior leagues have somewhere for people to have a drink, before during and after the games. With the football on too.
