Even if they had to "consider the challenge itself"... Why haven't they banned him? It's all been a lot more newsworthy since the challenge fractured his skull, but they are basically saying that elbowing someone is only a yellow card offence. So now with them saying this, if any team is to have a player sent off for elbowing, could they appeal and say that this kind of set a precedent for elbows being yellow cards?
The FA has had to consider the challenge itself and not the outcome of it ********! what about ben thatcher then? and even so the foul was a blatant intent to do flipping damage, you dont have to elbow an opponent in the face before the balls anywhere near you...TW*TS

what an absolute disgrace! complaints were made to both the fa and south yorkshire police and they both take no action??? (even though you can clearly see the challenge has no place on a football pitch) i wonder what would have happened if it had been ronaldo or cesc fabregas? the decision coming the day after humey was readmitted to hospital with complications rubs even more salt in the wound as it would appear if he had died morgan would be allowed to play on unpunished! if i'd done that at work i'd be sat at home watching jeremy kyle every morning no questions, whilst waiting for my court date. RESPECT? do me a favour! respect is earnt and all i've learnt from this sorry saga is that the FA have as much common sense as Sepp Blatter! where's the PFA? surely they have some powers to represent the injured party? (chinny)
