    That Newcastle No 10 is Adam Armstrong England under 17 international. Looked good dint he.

    Young Biggins had a bit of a mare but got a couple of shots off at the end.

    Anyone impress you BigLil in a reds shirt.

    Didn't go tonight, but it seemed it wasn't the normal players.
    Some first years played and a u16 scored.
    Not sure who else was on the bench.

    Are they using a weird lens to film these games? Noticed it last time, the field of view is very compressed and it's hard to get any perspective. Either that or the aspect ratio of the camera doesn't match the setting in YouTube - may be set to 16:9 and 4:3 in YouTube.

    Very impressed with Armstrong. I'm not going to criticise any of the young lads, individually. I just felt we were beaten by a better team on the night, but we kept going to the very end.

    The two central defenders were solid and I liked the look of the left back (George Smith?). When he had the ball played to his feet, our number nine was causing their defence some problems.
    I'm not wishing to sound disrespectful to the lads, I simply don't know their names.

    We gave em a good game first haif but they just looked too good in all departments. Only mentioned Biggins because I singled him out to keep a specific eye on. Templeton wide left impressed me for us.

    As I said, mate, I don't know any of the names. Our number two, who looked very young, was solid. Unfortunately, he had to go off injured after we'd made our three substitutions. The boy was distraught, but he did well against a very difficult opponent.

    It's only one game against very impressive opponents, so I don't know if I caught anyone having an off night. Which is why I refuse to single out any one player for criticism.
