But this suggests that you view Jalo simply as a potentially lucrative financial asset. I view him as someone I may enjoy watching playing for us, for a year or two at least.
Hey Frogger, I was shocked at those comments on here as well. I thought is that the same Bruce Dyer, who was a top professional with us as a player, and who also always comes across as likeable. Although admittedly, I don't know if what was said is true or not, I just find it hard to believe.
Same bud - found them hard to believe. Maybe it's happened once or twice and its painted a picture, but doesn't strike me as accurate at all
Did anyone notice a controversial ex-poster from this board giving his two pence worth on Doug's Twitter thread?
Stopped getting emotionally involved with players we all know if Jalo has a good scoring six months he will be off let alone a good year just the way it is. Just a matter of how we can benefit the most I'm afraid.
Give us a clue. Was it about bridges?, every player from Scotland being useless?, every player not from a top six academy being useless?, was he threatening to meet someone outside the ground?
I wouldn't loan Jalo out, I don't see much point in loaning him to tier 6 or below where he's just going to get lumps kicked out of him. Thought the same with young Dyer going to Basfield or wherever. Jalo will be better served training with our senior team, even if he is limited to pizza cup appearances, though hopefully he'll get some league time as well.
Nope. Someone from longer ago who was just a divisive but for different reasons. A moaner extraordinaire.
If he isn't going to play get what we can. It's a bit like the Balagun situation at Arsenal. Decent laiker just isn't fancied by Arteta.
For me he needs to be on the bench. Give him the odd 15 minutes here and there. He's way better than Shaw and at least on a par with Dallas from what I've seen.
Ahh, it WAS the hate every player from Scotland one. I wonder if he's still banging on about Patrick Cryne?
Why do people think that players who are nowhere near our first team.. would do a job above tier 6.. and why we don't get loans out above Guiseley level, is because other clubs have to want em
I didn't suggest he'd do a job above tier 6, that's probably the highest level he gets a regular start, and I don't think it would benefit him. He's best off training with our first team, playing alongside players who will read the game better and position themselves better, and create better quality chances for him, and getting game time against tired defenders ideally when we're 2-3 up, and will hopefully be protected by a better standard of referee.
