I felt he treated Hassell badly. I’d love to know about this treatment of staff

 

I wouldn’t say he’s piss poor, he’s had mixed success as a manager. He messed up with us in the end I agree. Felt it was bizarre that throughout his last few games he played a 4-4-2 with Dawson & Mellis on the wings & wouldn’t change it even though it wasn’t working & we had natural wingers in the squad

 

I think we can move on but my info comes from my Son who was on his staff.

 

I'm probably biased because he think he's an absolutely horrible man who acted against the best interests of the club while he was here. Dropping luke Steele to bring in a close personal friend who was quite clearly not up to it for example. The disgusting treatment of Bobby hassell. Demanding expensive trips out with top notch facilities etc.

 

Has he got a smaller budget than other clubs? He never mentions it.

 

I agree with you on all that. I’d forgot about the Mike Pollitt farce. Think we had a lot of players with the same agent back then too, bit dodgy.

Funny how he played everyone at the club ahead of Bobby & then he literally had to play him as we’d ran out of defenders & he was brilliant in his first game back

 

Didn't he also abuse a few of our players for their religious belief?

 

I heard that rumour too
