    aaaaaargh!

To be born Welsh is to be born privileged
Not with a silver spoon in your mouth
But with music in your blood and poetry in your soul.

    anytime bruv...

Just a little bit of the maths though....

Let’s say go back 800 years. On average each generation being born every 25 years. There would be 32 generations from the 1200’s that means you could potentially* have 2 to the power of 32 great great x32.... relative grandparents alive then. So 4.3 billion ish. The worldwide population then was only about 400 million. Now I nknow there would have been interbreeding, but just going back a few more generations and the numbers get even more silly, leaking to my original conclusion..

Was the interbreeding not just confined to the Sheffield area?
