Wasn't criticising our club mate. Just pointing out why do other clubs have a blind eye on em by the authorities. Maybe that didnt come over as I'd meant. The sooner we get safe standing so the rest of us can sit without being obstructed. The better for me. There should be sections for both home and away fans. And not a question for the club, everyone should already know the answer.
Back to Op. From my very limited dealings with Gally, I've found him to be level headed. I am a bit concerned he didn't get airtime last time round. If I was in charge of a business that was so dependent on the goodwill of its "customers" I'd pay a lot of attention to what their views were. I get he isn't an official spokesperson and that there are some wild views on forums but he is a conduit of the zeitgeist and the club would be well advised to pay heed.
Nah, her esoteric and cryptic tweets do more harm than good. She only communicates appropriately regarding the Womens team. Her tweets regarding the mens team either imply criticism of the fanbase or are just cryptic and unhelpful. Reading them feels like she's on the wind-up.
My question is please can we take the EFL Trophy by fielding a strong side, given that we are unlikely now to see fixture congestion as we have failed in both other Cup competitions at the first hurdle.
Ooh, one more from me, is the new Director of Football a replacement for the CEO role or to work alongside a new incumbent CEO?
Lots of people wanted to ask questions thats the only reason and they probably got asked in some fashion as part of that.
Seem to recall around/before the last one there was quite a bit of backlash about perceived ‘favourites’ & ‘easy questions’. So wouldn’t be surprised if it was deliberate to try to show fairness and being open to all.
Give me JAQ with a bit of personality and shithousery over Chien Lee and his self-congratulatory copy paste tweet after a win every day though!
I don’t think any club official should be communicating to the fans via social media. It’s just an avenue for confusion and abuse. All communications should be coming through the clubs official channels
Why do we continually pigeon hole ourselves with one method which has seen the last 5 head coaches operate a wing back formation, it gives us a lack of flexibility in changing formations so we are predictable to the rest of the division, it also means we potentially restrict our recruitment if they can't fit the system. Hypothetically speaking if we identified someone with a good resale value who was within our target budget but was a winger playing in a 442 system would this be overlooked?
