So we were gash every game were we. Ne`ermind Tom there`ll be another bandwagon to jump on along soon.
i'm personally not seeing too much negativity. apathy perhaps, but not so much negativity. not where i sit anyway. i'm just feeling very 'meh' about things at the moment. and most people around me are pretty much the same.
To be fair in pretty much every game under Flitcroft this season we were poor even the games we won we were quite lucky. The draw against Reading we were good in the rest pretty *****.
There is one reason for the drop in 18-35 year olds and its the money involved in the game. Often 25-30 quid for adult tickets, so for an away trip with a few mates your looking at 80 quid each minimum before you add in a night out after. Too much to do it every other weekend.
It's the abusing of individuals that pisses me off. A lot of fans seem to just go after the same player even when he doesn't make a mistake. Great example was second half today. O'Grady heads a ball behind Dawson who's running forward, Dawson tries to control it but couldn't due to the header not been accurate enough. This was followed by a load of numpties around me going 'tha **** Dawson' 'get him off Danny' '****ing *****'. Can't imagine abusing players when they've not even made a mistake is good for morale
This is definitely becoming more common place in the game. I commented today that Steele gets abuse from some the first time he makes a mistake yet some players do sod all for 80+ minutes and get nothing like the abuse others get,
Who says we don't? As one of the "oap's", I think I make more noise than the young ones sat around me. Don't be so damning without checking your facts!
Re: Who says we don't? Exactly. It's alright someone having a go at fans for the atmosphere, but it's upto the players on the pitch on thousands of pounds a week to start earning their vast wages and give the paying fans something to get excited about.
