Proper supporters.... SUPPORT the players, not boo them. That's why they're known as supporters. You're entitled to think he's *****, but what will booing him achieve? Make him more nervous? It's daft, plain and simple.
I'm obviously banging my head against a brick wall he is not a confidence player - he was on top of the world after the chelsea game and he has still been **** good god - open your eyes
Get lost and get behind the team in League 1 he will be a star In reply to James G. Get behind our bloody team. Who are you? a feckin glory fan? It seems it to me. I could crawl under a brick and die, but the Reds are my team and I will be there no matter what. Off to Preston on Sat. Coach seat booked and ticket bought. Get bloody behind them. The team needs us.
I think you've done an excellent job... ... in reminding us all just how "feckin thick" you are with that less than convincing arguement. Can you recolect what you may or may not have said after the Chelsea game? Was it along the lines of "Odejaye....wobble... wobble...'kin great player....wobble...fine goal.....wobble....... should start every game blah blah blah" or was it more or less what you've just spouted? Oh, let's see now......
RE: I think you've done an excellent job... http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=86412&mid=651076#M651076 I did say it was a fantastic goal as it was - and it was his SECOND GOAL OF THE feckING SEASON YOU RETARD I stand by my original post at the top of that thread
if I felt the need to boo a player, I simply wouldn't go to the game Yes, he's not good enough Yes, he's had a fair chance to try and prove himself Yes, he should've scored at Wembley Now what about the nos. No he wasn't anonymous for most of the game, like his strike partner No he didn't go into hiding after that miss like many players would have No he didn't just shrug it off after the game, apparently he was really upset.
RE: I don't think anyone is claiming that for goodnesssake the kids scored a couple of goals and most rihgt minded people are pleased for him the kids tries 100% give him a break
Odejayi last night For me Odejayi last night deserves a whole load of praise. Ok he missed a couple of chances, one was a great take on the chest and turn before trying to lob the advancing goalkeeper ... only a chance because of how he handled the cross. He did a lot of work and won a lot of headers ... and he he scored TWICE to move us out of the bottom 3 .... Get Behind Em now and lets make sure we can be safe as quickly as possible
oooooo James.... .... now who's the chump eh? "fecking thick" is about right. Some fan you are - get yourself off to Bumhole Lane with the rest of the fickle barstuds.
RE: anybody who thinks getting on his back will improve matters first time last night he got some good service. And im a howard fan
RE: oooooo James.... I take it all back an open net from two yards and a decent finish two more glaring misses and his first league goals since september what a class striker
James I got to agree with you 4 goals all season, I know he scored 2 yesterday, but FFS hardluy awe inspiring is it. If he is only going to play well for 5-6 games a season then he aint worth keeping.
reminds me of a very poor mans andy cole, needs 30 attempts to score a goal as opposed to 20! however, dont think he'll be forgotten at oakwell for many a year
Well those who do get on his back...bet you cheered last night shut the **** up next time he scores then
One good thing last night I didn't hear anyone booing Odejayi so presumably James wasn't there Lots of despairing looks when he blazed over in a carbon copy of the Wembley miss but that was all Having scored one he did at least have the confidence to have another couple of goes, and he made some great runs that Leon managed to play excellent balls through to him. He really appreciated the cheers from the crowd when he scored the goals and the applause he got at the end of the game. Will it make him more likely to pop another one in next game? I have no idea, but it has more chance than booing him ever would Still not sure if he is the right striker - but if Leon can keep putting balls for him like yesterday there is certainly more hope. But in any event - if he is on the pitch in a Barnsley shirt - I will cheer him on
RE: James I got to agree with you Good to see there is someone else on here who is a good judge of player People need to look beyond the shirt just because any player wears a barnsley shirt doesn't mean they should be above criticsm if someone is **** it needs saying
Well said mate If he is on the pitch - get behind him. My opinion of him is not that different to many on here but the difference is I will keep supporting him even if he plays another 200 games for us. Any other reaction can only be bad for the team as a whole.
