It's moving 181 existing parking spaces to create 194. An increase of 13 cars, albeit leaving via a different entrance.

And the exit is my only issue with the plan because they are proposing to move the cars from a carpark with two exits directly onto a main road to a carpark with one exit onto a narrow, already busy, side road. The plan could be a go-er but would need a new access road creating in my opinion. The best solution would be an access road from the new carpark into and through the old brewery which would serve two purposes, it would firstly avoid nearly 200 extra cars going down a road that cant handle it and also mean that the joining with pontefract road would happen further away from the grove street carpark which would significantly help with traffic management.

    Just my opinion of course.

Christ ST I'm lost for words here, don't miss the chance to knock the club whatever it does! 13 extra car spaces, probable profit from housing. But hey...

You're the one reading this ****!

He does need a hobby though, or a bird or a worthy cause to get behind. Not that they've done me any good. Aged me, they have. :(

Council expecting a budget shortfall and are raising some capital or they could raise council tax

Looks to me as if that will split the load between Grove Street and Beavor Court. Can we assume then that it will be turn right only from Grove St and left only from Beavor Court when leaving after the match?

We only get 8-9,000 crowds so traffic around Oakwell and car parks isn't even worth worrying about.
