Re: Looked pretty good? 2010/11 - shot by the enigmatic RNL sneaks in past a keeper that went down slower than my mortgage. - 1 win. 2011/12 - header by Baresi (John Stones) misses by fraction of an inch. - no win. Fine margins this football lark....
Re: Looked pretty good? Correct. But in time all we will remember is the awful run. If it doesn't pick up straight away next season, Hill's days are numbered.
Re: The antidote to negativity You slagged him off before he got the job now theres negativity for yer.
All the more reason to get some money in now and back him in the transfer market. He'll have a list of names, probably all off radar but if we pss about til end of August it'll be too late.
Re: All the more reason to get some money in now It will. But we will because we are run by an administrator and not a football man.
Agreed. I don't care where he goes. The only thing I hope for is that Rowing has learned from the Howard, Shackell, Hammill etc situations and is finally going to get us a market transfer fee for one of our assets.
It would be an insult to our time spent developing him as a player and to the loylaty we have shown him if he goes to Leeds, more so if we end up getting peanuts at a tribunal. I hope he has more about him than that.
