What a cheap and presumptuous post

For presuming that you speak for the rest of us and that Mark Robins would have even heard of this site laet alone read and take any notice.

Cheap are your words posted on here hidden behind a user name. Why not contact him directly and tell him to his face that he isnt wanted. Not by us but by you personally and state youre reasons for not wanting him to manage your football club.

 

the reason i havent replied earlier is because i've been out.

the reason i say we is because i havent seen one post on here other than the few on this thread saying mark robins brilliant manager and will do well at our club. or anything along those lines, the people i have spoken to who are barnsley fans says exactly the same as i am saying, fair enough a lot of you might want him but i recon there is more that dont want him.

i am always willing to give anyone who comes to barnsley a chance but i recon we are doing the cheap option yet again. hes a good manager for rotherham united in LEAGUE 2. we need someone like paul jewell who has been under pressure by been in charge of a team and having bigger clubs playing against them. we need someone who will be able to control the squad against those teams in our league there is newcastle reading middlesbrough and more who are no doubt better than us.

Jaffa, you are trying ,by labelling, to demonise Robins before he arrives. It's commonly known as "village mentality" and "lets put him down, even before he begins the job". Whats it all about? Why do you feel compelled to raise the anti. Is it in hopeful anticipation others will follow your ideas and opinions and that others,including yourself will get on his back from day one. I for one would like you to provide a professional and rational arguement as to why this man should not come our way other than merely managing a 2nd division team and err.... managing them well at that.
