So they just provide a CMS? Big furry deal. Give me a month and I'll knock one up from scratch. How these big companies manage to get these lucrative deals amazes me. Still, if as you say it's down to the club then couldn't they take someone on as a YTS (showing my age there). Surely there'd be no shortage of applicants!
Kinda They provide that and the server etc that it is all hosted on along with some of the images for the site (i believe) and the associated network and various bits and bobs but the job of adding news and running the site is down to each club. Some of them use outside agencies to do it (rotherham for example) and some have people working for the club like we do.
I think that somebody on a YTS scheme is a great way to go because not only will they be cheap but they'll be keen to learn too.
Same as with the downloads section, it isn't used because basically Rob's skills in that department are limited I think (no offence Rob). It is fair enough because he is a journalist, not a graphics artist but surely the club could have a word with Barnsley college and get some students to make some or something.

same thing Or not. Either way, it's not graphics lol.
I think you should get a job for the club doing it. How ironic would that be.

RE: same thing After my comments about the standard of the site I don't think it's likely. Went for the same job at Hartlepool United but didn't get it as I wasn't a Hartlepool fan!
