Perhaps many people who are "crawling out of the woodwork" are people who didn't vote for him as MotM

    When he plays.

I'm not having a go at him and I know he's a quality player when he can be bothered but, for one reason or another, you only get half a season out of him and that's not going to work in the CCC.

How many times was he voted Man of the Match before the last 10 games? A player of his "QUALITY" should have been man of the match 9 out of ten games throughout the season - Player of the Season - in the League 1 Team of the season! And to those who think he will be better in the Championship - dont make me laugh!

McPhail too often disappeared out of games when things weren't going our way, he was better from January onwards (the cynics might suggest a new contract being on the horizon) and I thought that the Championship would suit him better, but he's gone now so lets concentrate on the team - Howard is a similar type of player...can't really play both together anyway so he is a good replacement and we need to be looking at a ball winning midfielder to play alongside him.

Yes! As long as his replacement in the team is not Wroe!
Achieving your potential in a dozen games in two seasons is simply not good enough! He was not the sole nor even the major contributor to the promotion!
