A three year old girl was taken from her home and raped. They have three men in custody. The toddler went to hospital with significant injuries which weren't sustained in the car accident.

Now think about this. Three men working together. Full penetration on a toddler. And why was she still alive? that question chills me to the bone.

    Now you DO know.

As much as I'm against capital punishment. In this case, 12 years for murder ? This is where it's hard to argue for prison. 9From't Star)

THIS is jilted Sheffield man Kevin Jenkins who strangled his girlfriend after flying into a rage when she rejected his marriage proposal.

Jealous Jenkins, aged 27, snapped and murdered pretty 21-year-old Fiona Haywood after she told him she had feelings for another man.
He pleaded guilty to murder at Sheffield Crown Court and was sentenced to life by Judge Alan Goldsack QC. He will serve a minimum of 12 years in jail.
Prosecutor Jeremy Baker QC told the court Jenkins, of Fulmer Road, Hunters Bar, became besotted with Fiona after they struck up a relationship in November 2004.
Jenkins, a Norwich Union claims assessor, was possessive and controlling and objected to Fiona meeting friends and relatives - even though he was still having sex with a former girlfriend.
The relationship became strained when Fiona told him she was going on holiday with a friend to Thailand.
During the holiday Fiona, a pensions clerk, met a young German man and they struck up a relationship.
When she returned home she tried to contact the German man but Jenkins sabotaged her email account.
The court also heard he flew into a rage when Fiona showed holiday snaps to her twin sister Sadie and that he called her a "slag".
Jenkins confronted Fiona in a bar on Ecclesall Road and threatened to fight a girlfriend she was drinking with.
The court heard he told his former girlfriend: "How can you feel you want to marry someone and kill them at the same time?"
On the night of her death Fiona had arranged to meet Jenkins for a meal and a chat in her flat on Northumberland Road, Broomhill.
After sharing a bottle of wine the couple went to The West End pub where they were seen laughing and joking. They returned to Fiona's home - but just an hour later she was dead.
Jenkins fled and drove to Stockport where he walked into a police station and confessed: "I've killed my girlfriend."
During police interviews he said he had proposed but Fiona turned him down saying she didn't love him enough and she still had feelings for the man she met on holiday. Jenkins claimed he then blacked out, and when he came to Fiona was lying dead on top of him.
Judge Goldsack told Jenkins there was no excuse for his actions.

RE: I'll do it for nothing.

I'd say you'd give the individual executioners the right to stand down.

    The case will go thus.

He'll be tried, found guilty but with a plea for dimished responsibility or some such B*ll*cks, he'll be sentenced to 8-10 years maximum. Appeal as a model prisoner within 3, be released on a 'care in the community' program by the 4th or 5th year, registered as a sex offender or something and there will be a risk that he re-offends.

When he's released, there'll be a study that coincides with his release that says that if you ate a certain potato yesterday, there 'could' have been a chemical added in the growing process that was imported fom France that for 0.000000000000000000000001% of the worlds population may possibly have given him a small headache which could have meant his frame of mind was affected.

He'll then get £8 million in compensation through legal aid.

Obviously the victims family will have the benefit of seeing justice being done.

    Eye for an eye

Killing the sickos seems a to be taking a bit of a tangent really, as they didn't kill anyone. I think we should follow the eye for an eye, like for like argument. So these guys should be kidnapped from their baths and raped. Anyone fancy the job? Windy?

I think a sensible option, in which we might avoid the killing of innocents or those who might still contribute something, might be to get these guys in, carry out extensive and exhaustive psychological testing (and we are now developing the means for this), and if it is clear that they cannot be sorted out and are incurably ****** in the head (technical term), then think about something further and more 'permanent'.

    I honestly do believe

That he should be killed slowly. To start off he should have all his teeth root chanelled without any form of pain killer. Other operations should also be carried out daily....... until he dies! The utmost care should be taken to assure that he lives as long as possible!

Like that little lass that got taken in Cardiff (I think). How tf does someone come into your house, go through it, get hold of a bairn and walk out ? How did they know it she was having a bath ? Baffling and disturbing.

    apparently

no-one can survive being told that each day they are to have a limb amputated until they have none left-I think 3 is the most people manage before just giving up the ghost-at least that's what I remember reading somewhere?

    Well then

He can keep his left arm so he can feel he hasn't any other limbs!

I've edited the bath bit out mate.

That was a six-year-old in an unrelated incident. It says the three year old was taken from her home.

I think the death penalty is more suited to situations like this than to some people who have committed murder. Obviously not mass mUrders of anything sick like that.

But this guy has totaly ruined someones life who will probably be in theropay for the rest of there life. Are we as bad as murderer for wanting this guy to have a slow painfull death? because hand on heart i would like him to die as slowly and painfully as is possible.

    RE: Eye for an eye

Everyone seems to be getting hung up on murder like it's the worst thing a person can do. They DO carry out extensive psychological tests before releasing these people and a significant percentage of those deemed fit to re-enter society reoffend. So ask yourself this question - who do we owe the most to? Those children who'll go to sleep tonight unaware of the fact that they're going to have her lives torn apart by some sick ******* the liberals wanted releasing or the proportion of sick ******* who'll manage not to reoffend? Who are we supposed to be protecting here?

And I'll say again, again, again, they caught him with the girl in his car.

    Nah

Staple who's arse? Thats the point! You can't just say, lets splat everyone! Lines have to be drawn and proper procedures followed, otherwise we'll just get baying mobs with burning torches. Yes, It'll cost money to sift through those convicted of things, but these guys get tested to exhaustion in prison anyway. It'd be a way of using this testing to pinpoint the really bad ones and then applying extra punishments.

The facts they are a-changin'... eh? (H)

Anyway... sounds like we're talking about a bunch of sick f*ckers here.
Lock them up in a jail for the rest of their lives - problem sorted!

To answer your question "why was she still alive?"
Er... because they decided not to kill her? (dunno)
Surely it's a good thing that she's still alive?!

    RE: Eye for an eye

Yes, they did, and if the guy is as sick as he sounds and as you assert, then he will be identified as such and under my system would then be 'proper sorted'. I'm not saying release them and give 'em jobs down the swimming baths. I'm saying, proper trial, conviction, full testing, and then, if we are certain of ourselves on the basis of all evidence (behavioural, cognitive, physiological, etc), a little injection and job done.
So I'm agreeing with you, only with more checks. And I'm in some ways one of those dreaded 'liberals' everybody fears.

As the father of a 3yr old girl myself...

my preferred punishment would be time in a small room alone with him & all UK law is abolished for 1hr in that room.
