Long time? They don't even lock shoplifters up these days. Probably took him round the corner and told him to disappear
This election is going to be the worst in living memory. Brexit has completely ruined the country and there are very real feelings of pain and hurt from those who are worse off because of it - and to see the same individuals running for office that crippled the country really does stir emotions. You've only got to look at the threads on here already. Full of the "we won you lost lol" goading still from the Brexit Lot - and a refusal to see it for what it really is and the consequences of it. But having said that, you can't lob bricks at folk. Complete idiot.
He picked a place that voted heavily for Brexit as did seat he chose - won't get many cheers in other places. Like here for instance
Instead of a brick it should have been a big fůck off pill he threw at him, send him back under the rock he crawled out from.
I'm guessing those who think it was good on here won't be happy until every person who disagrees with their ideologies or beliefs are attacked and ultimately killed?
Can't see anyone saying it was good that someone threw a brick at him? Just fair minded people calling the bloke a pillock, and Farage a ******. That's fair I'd say.
He wasn’t attacked he had a couple of handfuls of cement chucked at him and a coffee cup , it’s not as bad as half a tin of sweet corn chucked at Oakwell once
Mid day ever lovely people at work bloke in his 30s scruffy lovely person throwing stuff at politicians. Can guess who he's voting.
I don't know where to begin with this one, I'm just at work so I haven't really got the time to do it justice. But yes, Brexit has absolutely crippled the country. Both financially and socially. Its increased the cost of basically everything - mortgages, rent, utility bills, food, beer, literally everything. It's cost people jobs. Its caused an increase in racism up and down the land. Its divided families. Its divided my family as an example, and it directly contributed to my wife losing her job around 3 years ago. It also blocked us from signing a new manager
Protests screaming abuse at him then throwing things at him, literally gives him the moral high ground.
Every lovely people at work, where did the ‘crowds’ come from then? Suppose all we’re retired lovely people eh?
One thing, regardless of political views, we can all agree on is that most folk dressed like that wandering through Barnsley town centre in the last century have probably had (and deserved) something chucked at them. Nothing says man of the people quite like country gent tweed.
On the one hand, it's absolutely wrong to throw anything other than noise at a politician on the campaign trail. As abhorrent as the traitorous frog-faced slug is, he should be allowed to campaign without fear of being attacked. On the other hand, I suspect plenty of Barnsley folk will vote Reform and make the town look like it's full of thick, knuckle-dragging yokels. This at least tells people - including Farage - that we're not all bigoted simpletons.
I don't condone it but I can see the level of I'll feeling enough ill feeling to throw objects at people.. hmm ok
