but thats 5 months sky sports!
n whilst i agree with the "i hate $ky" bit,
freeview is a bit **** compared to sky,n they get all the other chump league too,
had a freeview box gathering dust for yonks,
dusted it off n stick it in the birds bedroom,
id just say sod it n goto the pub with the £200 anyway!
what does look a better way to blow nearly £200 though is this.... http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/157886

    Good Move.

I've got the Topfield and its the best thing I ever bought.

It was a close run thing between the Humax and the Toppy, but the fact that you can load programmes onto the Toppy that enthusiasts write swung it for the Toppy for me.

To be honest the facilities on the Humax as standard are better than those on the Topfield as standard, but when you start adding some of the extras (called Topfield application programmes or TAPS) then it can't be beat.

See unofficla Topfield site for details of TAPs
    www.toppy.org.uk

I've got an application loaded called 'MyStuff' and it gives the Toppy pretty much all the features of Sky+, such as setting control timers to automatically record stuff, put it into different folders etc.

I don't know how we ever managed with a VCR!. It seems so old hat!

Do it - you won't regret it. (Y)
