You know the idiots and racists who brought shame to the country last summer, the scumbags rioting up and down the country? Remember them? The sort of ‘people’ who surrounded hotels, set fires, attacked police officers. I was at work at the time, paying my tax and NI etc. Not destroying things, attacking mosques, costing fellow taxpayers money. I certainly wasn’t endangering the lives of people I’ve never met. I imagine all on the BBS would agree that it was a shameful few days, no? Which party do we think these s*** stains are following?
Sorry, but this Govt have been in around 11 months so how on earth can they throw anywhere near as much carnage as the 14 years previous? As for Narcissism, have you forgot about Boris and his followers/apologists?
Just depends how far left you want to lean... I have nothing against immigration, for me it's least of our issues. I don't want anything to do with a party in the world economic forum.
Every country in the UN agrees to takes asylum seekers. So even Australia don't do it all on a points system, they have to take in refugees too. What we need to do is to sort out processing asylum claims more efficiently. Why would people risk a very dangerous ocean crossing if they could be properly processed beforehand? Bear in mind too, most of those who seek asylum will be the more wealthy, hence more educated on the whole because they can afford to get out. Which again will benefit the UK as they will have a wider range of possible jobs they could do when allowed to work. What I would like Labour to do is to get a grip on those families stuck in the benefits trap, like Blair tried to do with surestart. Get them help with education/skills/training and help their children witb school so they can aspire to more and their kids see that there can be much more to life thsn living off benefits.
On thursday, I was out cycling and managed to break my chain so I was sat outside a pub waiting for her indoors to bring my tools and a spare chain. Anyway I got talking to a bloke (early 40s ish) who said he'd voted Reform (I then got into a discussion with the Reform candidate who was also in the pub). We got talking about climate change and he said he had an electric car (company car, no choice) and he hated it and was against nett zero, then we got onto immigration and he hated it complaining about parts of Burton being "overrun" yet he lived in the village of Barton under Needwood, a completely white middle class Tory heartland. I really didn't know what to say to him, his prejudice was so ingrained, I could imagine him petrol bombing an asylum seeker's hotel last August..
I'm not sure what you mean by tory/labour circus. It implies that the parties take turns in ballsing things up when in fact, As far as I know (and my maths can be poor) since 1900 - that's 125 years, there has only been 6 labour governments.
I doubt many voters were alive in 1900 but in recent times since 1997 we've had a 13 year of labour spell and the 14 year Tories until starmer took over. It's got progressively worse for the working people were taxed to death, prisons over populated, crime up the current lot have done as many U turns and broken promises as the last lot and that's why reform are appealing to the working class.
Also former gold Olympic boxer Luke Campbell will be a mayor for hull representing reform uk after been winning by almost 11k votes ahead of the lib dems. In hull which is usually a Labour area.
I’m quite surprised nobody has admitted voting Reform yet. More denigration of other parties but nobody openly stating they have or will vote Reform. Why is that? I mean if they are so amazing with such amazing policies, you’d think voters would be falling over themselves admitting their fealty. But nothing. Why is that? Most odd.
