Just for a bit of context, the premium for my wife's mutuelle (top-up health insurance policy) in France is about £1200 per annum.

Just a quickie for those moaning about 'Stopping The Boats'.

Could you please outline all legal routes that migrants currently have the option of to enter the UK? What are their options since Brexit? How do they legally migrate to the UK?

    Cheers.

Yes there was, he is calling people out via his own hypocrisy. See we’re back to the backward Barnsley taunts. There’s a reason why folk I. Barnsley have been traditionally Labour, the last 14 years of the previous Tory govt is a good example why. If folk think an alternative is to back a one trick pony racist, who rarely spends time in the country it’s up to them

The backbenchers play the long game. It's no coincidence to me that cheese and winegate. Stuck up someone in a lift gate, PPE millions gate. Starmer's Arsenal freebie gate and Rachel Reeves Chanel suits and New York holiday gate come to light. I could go on.

Everyone has a shelf life. None of the lords or donors wanted Truss or Sunak. I don't think they want Badenock either (not going down that avenue). Destined to fail.

They're playing the long game. I can see Tory defector Farage being the next Conservative Prime Minister or a return for Boris Johnson. It's radical but to touch on a point made by another poster. A lot of modern politics is PR over policy and you have to have charisma.

Well there were over a million migrants in 2023,and again in 2024. So there must be a plethora of legal routes, I would have thought.

Nearly spat my drink out mate. Didn't we have an agreement with the French. (They take our money, smile and wave the immigrants through the tunnel or onto dingies?)

No. There was a little thing called the EU that processed applicants before they tried to legally enter the country. These applicants were vetted, their I.D.'s verified and all details looked at before a decision was made in a timely manner.

We then made an absolute horlicks of a Brexit decision which then closed all legal routes of entry and caused vulnerable people to dice with death in rubber dinghies crossing 20 miles of choppy, freezing water.

I was referring to Starmer's recent successful sojourn to France to get an agreement in place. Which thus far has been tax payers money spaffed away.

Marc's post was aimed at people in general sniping at each other.

And seeing as I can't stand you, I'm not engaging with you.

So as I've said, I won't be conversing on this matter with you any further.

Anyone else, I've no problems with.

Marc - I'm really trying here.
