One Neil Redfearn, There's only One Neil Redfearn! 2nd Ashley Ward 3rd Craig Hignett 2 fairly recent I know, but the best players appear when the club is at it's best and the 3 years (Prem and either side) were the best since I started watching. Not old enough to appriciate the Glavin/Banks era. Mel Machin's debut was also mine!
How did he have a less successful career? He was a first team regular for seven seasons at one of the biggest clubs in the world, won League Championship , FA Cup & League Cup Winners medals whilst with Celtic & Partick, played in the European Cup, finished top scorer for Celtic on one occasion, played for his country and was the top player in what was arguably one of the best Barnsley teams ever.
i played with gorden owen when he finished, came to play at ryhill with his brother keith, who i might add was a very good player himself. big strong centre forward
My parents have shown me videos of Glavin playing He was class, he won the game for us plenty of times on his self.
He aint a legend for nothing
