    How odd.

still save you from the smell of farts &amp; smokers...or do you smoke?</p>

Do you have a a sense of taste? I suppose its difficult to comment if you dont know whats normal.?!</p>

My visual imparement means I dont see stereoscopically like most people. I can see through both eyes but my right eye I only use in black &amp; white under normal circumstances. (ie if my good left eye is open). Spent ages trying to see those hidden 3d pictures, could not see a thing in them. now I know why!</p>

    blimey..

well, it's not odd really.. not to me anyway.</p>

    no, I don't smoke.</p>

    no Dyson - I'm a laydee, I don't 'fart'</p>

(I'm discreet at any rate... hehe....)</p>

taste-wise, well I can tell the difference between chocolate and chips and tomatoes, for example...</p>

but I do find it difficult to taste the subtler flavours, spices and suchlike, so maybe it is affected in that way....</p>

great in summer though, driving though the countryside with the windows down while the other occupants in the car are complaining about the smell of the animals...  I don't miss what I don't know.... mint.</p>

Christmas trees, bakeing cakes,Honeysuckle, tomato plants

and that smell when you are in Cornwall by the sea.</p>

I used to like creosote untill I had to paint wooden towers useing industrial strength stuff.Used to get covered from head to toe in it,  in my mouth, down mi pants in my eyes(which had to be washed out with milk). Also quite slippery when slideing about on it at 100 ft up.Nasty stuff the old coaltar creo, I think its banned now as it was found to be carsenagenic.[IMG]</p>

    My top ten .....

    1. Pipe smoke (reminds me of my long gone Grandad)
    2. Tarmac
    3. Disinfectant (reminds me of infants school)
    4. Young babies freshley bathed and talc'd
    5. Woodland after rain.
    6. Misty mornings
    7. Ice cream vans (for years I associated the smell of ice cream with what I now know to be diesel fumes
    8. My Grandma - (always clean and fresh with a not-too-overpowering perfume)
    9. Lavender
    10. Footie changing rooms, wintergreen and all that.
    11. Xmas smells, spices, Xmas pud, Xmas tree 'n all that.
    12. Olbas Oil
    13. A good malt
    14. Fresh bread.
    15. The smell of a seaside caravan park on a morning when I was a kid. All those oh-so-healthy (not) breakfasts.

Slightly more than ten, I could go on all day. Most favourite smells are those that bring back memories of days-gone-by. Hence McDog posting his fave !

    ;-)

And another favouritist smell - Oakwell

The whole experience of starting to support them in the late 70's / early 80's.
Walking up past the houses towards the ground, the smell of the coal fires / chimneys. The smell of the burger hut / bar on the Ponty End and just the smell of the Ponty end itself. And the smell of me own shoulder when a pidgeon shat on me from a floodlight.

I used to get two buses / two trains to get there when I were a lad, miss the first 5 minutes, miss the last 5 minutes and then get two buses / two trains back home. That were a true supporter, not like these so-called youngsters today with there fancy Championship Manager and FIFA 2006. It were proper tough in my day. And we had Phil Chambers.
