Now you are moving the goalposts! What you said on Saturday does not match what you are saying today!! On Saturday despite "hunting " all over the main site you could not find a closing time! Today you did not have the internet to be able to look! Sick of people jumping on tha bandwagon and moaning just for the sake of moaning!
The difference is.. and the club full well know this is that you could have gone to a different Golf Club but are not likely to go to a different Football Club
Maybe he hunted all over the website on thursday and because the news story in question wasn't put on till friday he couldnt find it? I havent had a look through the past news stories for that week but if the club only put the closing time up the day before then that is very very poor in my opinion. If it was up before but omen missed it then I guess thats a different matter.
True, but look at the declining gates, people are walking away from the club and they should realise that every customer needs to not only retained but buttered up so that they encourage friends to come to oakwell.
Yes a few years ago (it was about 2000/2001 I reckon) I wrote to the club shop with a special request - a long sleeve home shirt (not on sale then - it was short sleeve or nothing at that time)... they got in touch with me and said "I'm really sorry, we don't have any for retail, we can only offer you one of the spares from the players, would that be alright? I'm afraid it's named and numbered? We don't expect you to pay full price - call it £20?"
did you post that on here at the time? I seem to remember reading somebody saying that a few years ago.
please show me on the main site a list of opening and closing times for the box office or club shop! I have since found the said article but as per usual it was swamped with the useless ***** that gets put on there. And i'l say again my quibble isnt with the opening times its withthe fact i could not even post my form anywhere or leave it with them for processing. I asked if there was a letterbox i could post it - "were shut".
finally got through nd my seat hadnt gone my call dealt with easily within 3 minutes or so of getting through. Its nice to have a q'ing service that tells you your position in the queue as well. £2 booking fee + about 5-6 mins on hold @10ppm. Probably cheaper than driving there. Will do that next year and save a wasted trip to the ground. Saga over. Just hope someone from the club reads this and takes note. It would have taken zero effort or money to take the form and put it in an in-tray for processing and saved me from a wasted trip to the ground and the stress of worrying if my seast of 10+ years would be snaffled. Looking forward to the new season now.
RE: finally got through nd my seat hadnt gone i cant really see a mad rush for seats happening can you ???
It was in the 'club - contact us' section (saw it this morning) but it did say 12oclock closing time rather than 2 or 2:30
I've moaned in the past but When I went in last week the service was excellent. The lady bent over backwards to help me, without being pushy. Also as someone who's moaned re the lack of goods in the shop, I think the recent Surridge stuff (training tops especially) are excellent. Still need more stuff for kids at more reasonable prices, but it's improving.
RE: finally got through nd my seat hadnt gone theyre good seats. When i first called there were 13 in the q, then 13 again, then 6, 5 and finally 1- so i waited. I calculated 13 callers would dhave been 50 min or so on hold and 10ppm would have been costly. Ya never know. Just my luck for em to go after not been able to get down all week.
I walked in after the stated closing time of 2pm. I purchased my BFC cricket shirt at 2:19pm from Clubshop "Bedhair" Matt. There were still about a dozen people being served in the ticket office. I've been served brillianty in the past ... and I've been treated like dirt. I do think the standard of customer service needs looking at. I also think there should be free lap dancing whilst queuing for tickets. I also think the staff should be paid more. The fact that poor Matt can't afford a hairbrush is more than worrying. I blame Ritchie.
RE: I walked in after the stated closing time of 2pm. i wonder where the postman puts the mail cos apparently i couldnt even post it cos they were shut. I generally have not had a problem with the club before but you are only as good as your last piece of work. Mattis realises this so why dont the rest of the club?
