    I like the 1985 film of "A Christmas Carol", which was filmed in Shrewsbury, because I used to teach in the centre of Shrewsbury and lived there and I like to identify familiar locations in a town of which I grew very fond.

    The George Michael music based Xmas flick. Never thought it would be my cup of tea but loved it.

    Sadly though we lost my mother in law 2 days ago, so Christmas is kind of not really Christmas this year and I haven't got round to watching.

    One of my favourite films is 'Titanic' but my son has spoilt it as he says most of the passengers would have been electrocuted as they were in water which had electric lights/live wires falling in it.
    Is he right?

    I’ve just googled that, this is what I found..

    Some may have been crushed to death as parts of the ship collapsed on them. Some of the ships lights were said to stay on until the generator room flooded. It is entirely possible that some people somewhere on the ship were electrocuted before they drown.
