    Last time i felt like that was a Bob Doyle penalty against Graham Taylor’s Lincoln City in 1975 .
    We had bombarded them almost whole game without being able to score and I think it was in the second half we hit a pen .
    I couldn’t look and covered my eyes and he missed . Lincoln went more or less straight down and scored what I think was the only goal .
    I think Lincoln went on to get record points goals scored and everything that season and we outplayed them . I never look away now

    How long have you been married - a week! Can’t believe she’s not got used to this. Just tell her, God was cruel and decreed you are a Barnsley fan. It would have been better if it were Barcelona. (Christ, it would have been better if it were Bournemouth!) but it isn’t, so she’ll just have to accept it.

    If you like I could have a chat with her when i’m down for the game in a few weeks. My four marriages makes me eminently placed to offer marriage guidance.

    I’ve always seen my relationship with BFC as one that lasts a lifetime. It’s important to get priorities right!!
