thats not his fault, the team was exactly as its been all season nothing in last third of field we all can see that its fecking obvious ,both him and ferencic have been inept all season its got to be changed if its not workin
In his defence.... You forget that what we lacked last season up front was a combination of power and pace - Odejayi does have both, but is raw talent and today it showed. As I said at the start of the season, it is a big step-up from Leagues One/Two an he has always needed bringing on slowly to develop him and his ability. He has more mobility than Ferenczi and looked the more threatening to the Cardiff defence. Big plaudits to both Sousa and to Hassell and to Foster today - I thought all were excellent. Trouble with playing a Championship side - they know us a bit too well. Cardiff had two men on Campbell-Ryce, but he still looked good. I would play Macken and Odejayi at Watford on Wednesday up front.

RE: In his defence.... I think he's suffered from having no-one to replace hiim, take him out of the firing line so to speak.</p>
yes BUT nobody put a gun to KO's head and forced him to sign a contract for a championship side. If he isn't good enough then he isn't good enough, no sympathy for him for being ****.
RE: In his defence.... I think we are missing the point. He doesnt have any raw talent. Half decent strikers are born with confidence and natural ability/finishing. You can not really teach confidence and KO doesnt have the skills to get himself out of this one. Any striker in any division knows 1. not to narrow the angle and 2. If the angle is narrow shoot across the keeper. I'd have named the other 9 outfield players to have that chance rather than him - and I'd probably give Steele a go ahead of him. Those are things that shouldnt have to be taught. Its a joke hes playing.
RE: In his defence.... I don't get all this "raw talent" *****...............raw, fair enough, but there is no evidence of any talent. His awareness is non existent, just doesn't have a football brain, and as for moving him into midfield...........would that improve what we have already, who would he replace? No, nice bloke he may be, but he's a League 2 player and we need to get shut.
RE: In his defence.... Academy's are for raw talent - oh and the 15, 16 and 17 year olds you expect to be saying that about. Not a grown man who is clearly not up to it.
Yes I felt sorry for Akinfenwa when he missed the penalty againt us at Cardiff, and I feel sorry for Odejayi too. He tried his best, did what he thought was right, he's just not very good. He didn't do it on purpose and as soon as he hit the side netting he was in a world of pain. I think you can accept that he is not good enough and empathise with him at the same time.
wrong !!!! Davey is a mug, a mug that is going to mcost this club a lot of money if we go down. Where do you think Davey atches the game from, if its not the sidelines?
RE: Unfair to blame Odonkeyi You wouldn't tell someone afraid of heights to do high jump. You wouldn't put someone afraid of confined spaces into a bobsleigh. So why, Mr Davey, do you play someone as a striker who is clearly petrified of taking a shot at goal? Put the poor man out of his misery. What has he ever done to deserve this cruel & unusual punishment?
I dont feel sorry for odejayi A:- because hes cant finish B:- as a personalitly hes just too nice he needs to have a killer instinct which he clearly doesnt have, how many more chances is he gonna get under davey???
Re: That's my point... not Odonkeyi's fault he doesn't have what it takes It's Davey who puts this lamb to slaughter each week
