All films - just leave them - bad or good! Struggling to think of a remake that has been better than the original.

Never seen it to be honest - just thinking of films such as the Italian Job and Karate Kid

How would you feel about an English language version of a foreign film? - thinking something like "The Ring" or "The Grudge" (or even the French TV show "Les Revenants"/"The Returned"). Not that these films are necessarily great, but certainly easier to watch without having to concentrate on subtitles!

Or there are always the more modern updates of older films - Are the latest Godzilla/Kong films better than the 30s originals?

Let the right one in, was decently remade to English language. Accurately restaging much of the original. I’m a bit obsessed with this Hungarian film White God, which could be well remade in the hands of someone like Danny Boyle..
