    Just wondered why you put this on the Sheff U thread mate. Such a sublime bit of skill and a magnificent goal deserves it's own thread :)

    I'd agree that 9 points isn't a big amount to turn over between now and the end of the season. However, you've to consider that their last 9 points has come over the course of 23 games. That's well over half a season. By that rate, they'll need the remainder of the season just to make up 9 points, not accounting for the teams around them picking up points too.

    Honestly, I still think they'll push Derby's record close.

    Ironically, Derby's only win of the 07/08 season came against Newcastle.

    Derby had 7 points after 18 games, the blades are still on course for the lowest ever points total.
