Moncur deserved his MOTM and was unlucky not to get a goal done by a great save and a crossbar. Watkins should have had an handful or at least a brace with his wasteful chances. He's good but not good enough that we should be offering five figure weekly wage that other clubs will.
I am very suprised to read that you think the first half was dire as I thought we played with a lot of pupose & I thought we were very creative all match. Brentfords goalkeeper had an excellent game & on another day, some of those many chances we created would have been put away.
Above average performance from the reds, poor atmosphere, flat as a pancake. Much better second half, from both teams, end to end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/QUOTE] It was like Brentford had hustled us in the first half. We struggled to contain them at the start of the second half. I'd describe the game as two teams who frightened each other with their pace and let each other off with their finishing.
I wouldn't say we lacked creativity. We created loads, just lacked conviction in front of goal. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Its just fishing pal. Same bloke posts consistently negative **** because his dad got banned for being a *****. He posted before the match we'd get hammered 4-0 or something. So when we didn't, and played them off the park first half, he has a little fishing trip.
It was so typical of them scoring when they did, totally against the run of play of course. But apparently they have had goals either way in their last 9 games now, where neither team has kept a clean sheet. So we were never going to NILL them today were we!
No we weren't, I predicted a Brentford win, we are in poor form, Brentford on a run of good results and scoring for fun, so it's a good point in the end. Just disappointing we can't turn our form around, particularly at home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
