    That's my script to a 't'

The bogs in Staples eh? Totally awash !
Always remember walking in there one night just before chucking art time and there's a bloke, absolutely pissed as a parrot, puke down his shirt, knob art and leaning precariously against the wall over the urinal.
    "alreight" I says
"aye reight nip, tuz some reight birds in ere t'neet - am gunna hev t'tap off ah reckon"
he then puke up again on his shoes and, with all the dignity he could muster, straightened his drooled on tie and fell out onto the dance floor.

Took me an hour to stop laughing.

RE: Grey Horse, Old Town/Miners Rest

Derek Wright was the (strict) landlord in the 70's and 80's. No canoodling in the corner, or you'd be asked to leave!! Quiz night on Tuesdays was good fun. It's gone downhill a bit in recent years. When I'm up North now I go in The Miners Rest.
