Ali are you sure? It was well before it hit the charts,think it was maybe an import at that stage. Was certainly quite a few years before it became a well know single.
RE: Grey Horse, Old Town/Miners Rest used to have his son amd our mate gary with us while we sneeked some ale - the biggest went in and bought - I think the real first was the shakkey and the market inn though - market inn before the match for pie and peas and the shakky cos i fancied the bar maid
