See the posts above Marlon - I don't 'keep ridiculing your vocabulary', I described your initial pop at me as rambling because it was, and I then queried what one particular part of one particular sentence in one of your subsequent posts actually meant, as it sounded nonsensical - I'm starting to think you overcook and/or make up some of your grievances just to confuse me and everyone else for that matter. If so it's working.

For pity's sake man, you started all this by quoting one of my other posts out of context and then using this to have a go at me, then you go on to make the usual confused and overblown accusations which almost without fail do not correctly reflect anything I've actually said etc, and yet you're the one accusing me of following your posts and/or having a pop. You're beyond parody, and I welcome anyone reading this post and the thread leading up to it to tell me otherwise.

For the record, I don't 'follow your posts around', and rarely comment on most of the threads, let alone your posts within these, however whenever you next say something stupid with which I strongly disagree, you can be assured I will comment accordingly.

Oh and while I expect T'owd Man is a big enough boy to fight his own battles, should he or anyone else feel that I've had a dig at them at any time, unfairly or otherwise, as opposed to just disagreeing with their viewpoint (which I notice is what you take to be a dig), as stated earlier I'd be more than happy to hear from them individually, and if they can point to anything I've done which matches your description, I'd be happy to apologise to them!

long story but in short, red west conveniently forgetting the thatcher thread a few months ago on old site where he defended her actions against residents of barnsley and others. wanted me to bring thread up knowing full well it was on old site.
seems to follow my posts ever since answering other users posts to goad me, pulled him up about it and this argument came about and rememberd you were one of the posters he also had a dig at.
he seems to think that just because i can't express myself with words he can turn my posts to mean what ever he chooses.

 

Right, can't remember the thread, it happens when you start getting old, but if he defended Thatcher in any way shape or form, I am sure I would have replied to him and with him being a Thatcherite I would think that he would have replied to me in an insulting manner, to be honest, I wouldn't expect a Thatcher lover to be any different.

the reason i remember is thats the thread i stopped having any correspondence with him as i say kept telling me i meant something other than what i'd actually said. ridicules my vocabulary so when i asked him if he wanted me to say it to his face he started crying saying i was offering him out what a nerd.
i had quite a few arguments and spats on here and lost quite a few too but this bloke twists and turns so much i just don't like him.

Not surprised you couldn't remember the issue he's on about (which rather proves the point that he's a fantasist when it comes to remembering posts/threads and their meaning/impact), I'd forgotten it too, however my recollection is that neither you or I had a dig at each other, we simply argued our respective viewpoints like you're supposed to on the forum, without resorting to the kind of stuff you see from our fellow poster. The point I picked him up on at the time was that he was getting quite excited at the thought of celebrating Thatcher's death, and I argued that this was basically pathetic and a waste of his (and anyone else's) valuable time and effort, and that fixating this way on someone (and their politics) who should have long since ceased to be relevant, and who is now just another frail old woman waiting for the maker, can hold him and a town like ours back.

My point was that we as a town have for a long time needed to cut it the f*ck loose and move on. That doesn't make me a Thatcherite or a 'Thatcher lover'. I did not defend the effect her policies had on the residents of Barnsley - that is purely and simply a lie on his part, and I truly hope there's a way to review the archived posts so you can see this for yourself. The bit about following his posts ever since and answering others to goad him is also an out and out lie, and I would think the evidence of this is available to view on this very forum, should you be sad enough to want to check this. The fact I've only posted about 200 times on here to his 1700 would also suggest I may be the world's least prolific stalker.
