Cometely wrong. They are sky boxes that conect to your Sky datalite receiver and receive every sky channel like you have sky. You pay a subscription for as little as 10 quid per year to unlock the pay channels and get full sky package including all ppv events such as boxing fights and also get pay channels such as mutv, premier sports and box nation.

ypu need a sky dish but could be done on dial up connection, only needs connecting to Internet to unscramble channels

its all done via card sharing. It will last as long as it takes sky to give everyone one in the uk a sky hd box because the SD boxes can't block it.

the f5 boxes which you can buy on eBay are very basic but boxes like vu duo etc are just like having a sky box record, forward and rewind etc

At what cost, issuing hd boxes to thousands of people who have no care for hd would cost a lot of money. sky currently charge 10 per month for hd, unless they make it free they c ant force everyone to have, so why give them an hd box.

you can get all the foreign channels you want if you hook it up to a motorised dish, although the cheap f5 boxes aren't really capable of running a motorised dish
