Flapper Davies

Don't think its 'sacrificial' tbf, I like him but I think he would benefit from a break. Doesn't matter how many great saves he's made in the past when recently he's been letting in shots that the average fan could have stopped.

 

Davies is a good keeper & better than average for the Championship. I take the point on confidence but the whole team seems to be suffering a little right now. Don't know what others think, but Davies was the better of the 2 goalies on Saturday.
Back to the subject of Davies' confidence, I'd like to see us bring in Heinz (meanz Muller!) to give that a boost. He's the only keeper on the planet that could have dealt with the first half sun by wearing a blindfold.

Steele didn’t command his area, was a poor kicker like Davis, and is imho no better than the current incumbent, as a shot stopper.

 

Statistically one of the best keepers we have ever had.
