    To be fair Pele, Best, Maradonna etc where better at 19 than Rose is likely ever to be

    i've know hirsty for years lil,always had some size about him.big,strong and powerfull even in his latter years when everyone thought he was 'fat' he could do 100m in about ten and half secs.loads thought he was past it when he went to southampton,he then tore the liverpool defence inside out.

    I hope we continue to see steady progress with his development and not rush him too quickly, simply to satisfy the impatient.

    That's good ......ask him about his intense training regime when he first joined Wednesday then that helped him 'step up'. (He'll probably omit the fact he got left behind on the moors in an early running session after joining them!) :)
