112,000 hits on youtube on the moment Barnsley realised they were staying up shows some interest in BFC is out there.

It's funny at this time of the season you realise how ignorant people are towards football, folk who I see from time to time who know I'm a Barnsley fan will ask me who we've got on Saturday at various points through the summer...fair enough though I don't have a clue when the Rugby, Cricket etc season starts and finishes.

It got to 100,000 within just a few days as well, I think it was posted on some foreign news website shortly after it was put on and a lot of the hits came from there.

Which part of my post have I got wrong?

Your post stated that Watkins and Mansford will not increase attendances. Of course they won't, and I said that's not their purpose. Which it isn't. Their purpose is to generate more revenue to give to the manager who if spent correctly will improve the team, thus increasing attendances.

Mate, you're preaching to the converted there. I've been calling for off the field change for ages. I could not be happier. Believe me.

I'm just gutted I can't call for Rowing out anymore.

Remind me again how often you went to Oakwell last season.
Remind me again how often you commented on particular players faults without seeing them play.
Either support the club or don't support the club.

    Good point.

Watkins / Mansford only have to look at the level of support at Huddersfield, to realise that there is potential at BFC to improve attendances, maybe by as much as double? In reality if we get an improvement through to ~15 K we will have done very well.

These guys are hardened professionals and know what they are doing. They have not brought any personal weath/investment with them, they will do it the business way. This means is should be sustainable, as opposed to a Chelsea or Man City scenario, where it is pure wealth.

I personally am exacted by what we are facing.......and am very surprised if anyone sees anything negative with our new structure.
