Feel the same. If we decided not to give it to Flitcroft, my third option was to get Don to beg Keith to come back.

I have 2 young lads and they have both been fortunate enough to be mascots for the Reds, so I have had the opportunity to meet both Keith Hill and David Flitcroft. Flicker was a really top bloke on both occasions, and I have a lot of respect for him as a person. He took the time and trouble to speak to myself and my boys. Whilst that doesn't make him a good coach or manager, he does seem to be trying different formations since Hill's departure, and he hasn't lost the dressing room. I'm not advocating that he should get the manager's job, but let's support him whilst he's here, as he's shown commendable professionalism since Hill's sacking.
I dont like the idea of giving it Flicker, but in all fairness to him he actually sounds intrested and shows more passion to the club than what Keith ever did. The player backing will be a 1000 times stronger heard than what the fans want, especially down a oakwell!
In my opinion I think with the situation of financial limitations and time running out quickly it's too late to gamble on a new manager who doesn't know the squad. It would take too long for him to settle. For me I'd keep Flicker as manager and concentrate on getting a good number two to assist him with new ideas.
Agree. A very honest bloke who clearly wants us to do well. We could do a lot worse. I think tomorrow might prove to be his interview. Makes a very good and perhaps obvious point that we are allowing a crucial transfer window to pass without looking to sign anyone. Also mentions Rob Edwards coming back into the squad! - it took me a while to remember who he was!. Main thing is that we get right behind the team tomorrow and help in every way we can to try and get three points.
