RE: miserable get A £1 I wouldn't mind but its always a Tenner, nivver reight, and I have told em( said give it me instead but seriously its not going to help him understand the value of money
I've had 5 sets here. Bought some lollies to give out earlier. I don't agree with it, and never did it myself but I just thought why not. I'd not have given to anyone older than about ten and I wouldn't give money. At least they all said thank you, and I even got a "Happy Halloween" off one kid! Bizarre.
ive got some cumin, some corriander, some tumeric., last years left over christmas chocs at the ready... . . Seriously, i dont mind thm knocking whn its young kids 5-6 old who have spent ages getting ready out with their mums and dads being kids. What i do objct to is the spoilt little ***** who get arsey becuase you've given them sweets ratrher than a skin diver or the 13-14+ year olds who've brought a cheap scream mask from tesco's demanding money for 'dressing up'.
E numbers send my six year old son hyper he doesn't eat lots of sweets and the few he's got tonight will probably last him until xmas, but sweets lately have far less e numbers in than so called normal foods e.g. cereals - cherio's margarine, cheese all contain an additive called anatto which is one of the worst for hyperactivity and very rarely found in sweets still tonight wasn't about begging or stuffing themselves with sweets it was about them enoying themselves
Over here they were really sweet Most of them about 4 to 8 years old, parents hovering in the background, singing badly rehearsed songs or reciting ryhmes. Never a hint of the "begging" feeling and certainly no teenagers with turnips on their heads. All over by 7.30pm and was quite fun really.
RE: Over here they were really sweet I'm probably over reacting - the kids enjoy it - I just find it cringeworthy, and it brings out the worst in my normally polite kids. They are alot nicer/ more appreciative at Christmas.
boo maybe i should give them a lecture and tell them they can't do this next year because begging is wrong
Kids will do anything For a packet of crisps and some fruit pastilles. Having met your kids I'm sure you are right. Happy tin and/or aluminium.
stupid comment nowt wrong wi kids dressing up and enjoying themselves, just dont send em to my door with thier hands out wanting summ at for nowt ps will you take a fiver for that clock
RE: Kids will do anything Ok, so you witness mother & daughter "relaxing" on Saturdays ..... ordinarily we are of course, "The Fit Family" !!!!
We've got this sussed. A family member recently died. Instead of the run of the mill funeral arrangement, we had David stuffed. He's currently lying in the hall with blood smeared on his face and a knife in his heart. We have rigged up a rope to the front door latch from inside and when the kids come a knocking, my missus yanks the rope, releasing the door catch and opening it wide so the kids get a proper Halloween treat ! all good fun.
