A month?! It's started already. Mr C called it a few days ago.

Danny is from the ancient past. Write off.

Point is you could have won Barcelona trophies as their manager. How hard could it be? The team picks itself and is full of class. If Pep was our manager with our current squad where do you think we'd be in the league? I don't think we'd be rock bottom, but I reckon we'd still be in the bottom 3rd of the table.

I know of a few who the managers have said are excellent in training only for them to be utter ***** in matches. Oddjob was apparently the best player in the world in training for example

He's not actually said he doesn't care about training. He's said that it's match day that counts. And he's 100% right. We won't get a single point from how well we train.

Ledley King? one of the most recent, poor trainers, though that was mainly down to injury problems but still produced on a Saturday week in week out at the top level....

Thats exactly what its going to be mario, another idiotic vendetta from a immature sod who thinks he knows more about football than anyone else in the world because he has a sky sports subscription and a full set of match attacks

For what it's worth, I'm not silly. I know Wilson doesn't think training is a waste of time. Only an imbecile would believe that. Of course, it's a vital part of being a footballer. But he did say - and I fully agree - that it's irrelevant how good players are in training, it's in games where it matters, and it's in games where you'll see much much more of a players make up.

The Flitcroft article I stumbled upon on newsnow. Here it is: http://www.football365.com/league-two/9087794/-?

I just found his views were in stark contrast to Danny's.

But let's be honest, Danny has achieved more in management than Flitcroft (and many others) will ever do.

As for Phil mentioning Pep or Mourinho. LOL.

Great managers they are, no doubt about it. But I'd love to see either of them have the balls to take over a club like ours, and do what Danny did.

Whereas, Danny would have Barca challenging on all fronts. In fact, even Flitcroft might win a few games... until he played Messi at right back or whatever.

It feels like reigniting an old friendship now that Danny is back. I have so much time for the bloke. However, I will never forget the second half of last season and what Flicker did for us. I wish him well and hope he has a successful career in management. Flicker had a very individual way about him, it was a bit odd, but he was always very respectful towards our club, our town and our fans. I think he served us well and I like him.

I prefer the way Danny speaks, I prefer what he has to say, but there's no reason why Flicker's methods won't work. I hope they do.

Spot on, my feelings exactly. Yes, this season has been a nightmare so far, but all the sudden vitriol towards Flicker is as strange as it is disappointing. He did some great things for the club, and brought the very best out of some limited players, but also made some poor decisions which ultimately cost him his job. it happens in football, and with some far more experienced managers than David Flitcroft. I really hope that he does very well in his management career. He clearly has a lot of the right attributes, even if he also makes a lot of mistakes.

Yep we have a great manager now , and I wish flicker all the success too. Hope flitcroft learns from his mistakes and moves on. Was great having Danny back in charge for Leeds match and the fans chanting his name . And even better watching bobby produce a great performance on the pitch . Can't wait for Bolton match now

I'm keeping my feet firmly on the ground. Not 4 months ago, we were all getting excited about a top 10 finish, and a bright future with a brilliant young manager.

But the DNA embedded within the project did not have enough football intelligence.
